Faith in Action: April 6th

Lent is a season of reflection, repentance, and renewal. It is also a time to extend God’s love through acts of kindness and generosity. This year, we have a special opportunity to make a meaningful difference.

On Sunday, April 6th, 2025, we invite you to bring non-perishable food items and essential supplies for our local Foodbank. Your generosity has always been remarkable, but we can do even more to support those facing hunger and hardship.

A small gift can change a life:
🍲 A can of soup can warm a hungry child.
🍚 A bag of rice can nourish a struggling family.
🥜 A box of cereal can bring hope to someone in need.

Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40). When we give, we serve Christ Himself.

Let us unite as a church family to express our faith in action. On April 6th, please place your donations in the designated collection area, symbolising our shared commitment to being a light in our community.

This Lent, let us not only give up but also give out—reflecting God’s abundant blessings in our lives. Together, we can show kindness in action and be the hands and feet of Christ in Luton.

With love and gratitude,
Michael
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” – Galatians 6:9
