**Join Us for our Nondenominational Transformative Prayer Meetings Every Thursday Evening!**Resuming 4th September
The Olive Tree Church in Luton warmly invites you to our weekly Prayer Meetings, held every Thursday from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at The Olive Branch (formerly St. Margaret’s Methodist Church,) Montrose Avenue, Luton LU3 1HT.
We will be taking a break for a few weeks – we will not be there on Thursdays 14th, 21st and 28th August 2025.
We resume on Thursday 4th September 2025.

Important information for folks providing food at OTC
We are very grateful for everyone who brings food to share with others at the Olive Tree Church. To comply with food regulations, we ask that when food is served at church we have a list of all the ingredients displayed so that anyone with food allergies knows whether it is safe for them to eat.
If the food has been bought in a shop the packaging can be displayed. If it is home-made please supply a list of all ingredients.

Letter from Rev Michael – ref – Defibrillator
Dear People of God,
We have Defibrilators at both sites. For Church and Public use. Thank God
Sudden cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere, at any time. It is a leading cause of death worldwide, and without immediate intervention, survival rates are devastatingly low. However, studies have shown that the availability of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) can increase survival rates significantly. Every second matters in such emergencies, and having an AED on-site could give someone a second chance at life.
Our church is a place of gathering, worship, and fellowship, drawing people of all ages, including the elderly and individuals with underlying health conditions. In a cardiac emergency, emergency medical services may not arrive in time. By investing in a defibrillator, we prioritise safety and demonstrate our commitment to caring for one another in tangible ways.

Refreshments after service
We’re in the process of drawing up rotas for the Summer. We now only have 3 pairs of volunteers for serving refreshments after the service. So please can I have another offer.
Philip usually gets the boiler going. So before service just requires setting out of items. After service, serving and clearing away. Also to provide milk.
